Stonestreet One to Present and Exhibit at the First International Bluetooth Low Energy Technology Conference in Munich, Germany

Louisville, KY (October 19, 2009) - Stonestreet One, a leading provider of Bluetooth software solutions since 2000, will be an exhibitor and presenter at the First International Bluetooth Low Energy Technology Conference in Munich, Germany on October 20, 2009.  The conference is open only to Bluetooth SIG members and is the first conference focusing on the exciting Bluetooth Low Energy technology.  Stonestreet One also will be announcing its Bluetopia®+LE offering at this event, its new protocol stack that will support Dual and Single Mode Bluetooth Low Energy devices.

Stonestreet One is global leader providing today and tomorrow’s embedded software solutions for Bluetooth wireless technology which integrate easily, efficiently and cost-effectively across a broad range of platforms.  In addition to Bluetopia®+LE, the company’s core products include Bluetopia®, a full-featured Bluetooth protocol stack which has been deployed by many OEM’s and is currently shipping in million of enterprise and consumer devices today, and BTExplorer, a powerful and user-friendly Bluetooth application for Windows CE and Windows Mobile based devices.

“We are excited to participate in this inaugural event focusing on Bluetooth Low Energy,” said Tim Reilly, President and Founder of Stonestreet One.  “We anticipate that this technology will be one of the fastest growing standard wireless technologies ever, and are delighted to leverage our deep experience and long history in the Bluetooth industry to launch this transformative new technology.”

Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology is a new extension of Bluetooth technology that paves the way to a vast new market for watches, remote control devices, and healthcare and sports sensors.  Consuming minimal power, it offers long-lasting connectivity, dramatically extending the range of potential applications as the missing link between small sensor type devices and mobile devices.

While Stonestreet One is currently working with early access partners, general availability of Bluetopia+LE will be during the first quarter of 2010, soon after the expected adoption of Bluetooth Low Energy specifications in December 2009.
